This thing is very durable. Despite near a month of tugging on the legs, none have ripped off. My staffy seems almost offended he can't get this one to shred.
The head of the hexapus is not quite as durable as the legs- he did get a couple holes into it, and the squeaker did not last long after that, but overall very pleased with this toys resilience.

Love at first sight and it was hard to take it away from him the first day. Durability wise… maybe because I have an aggressive chewer, the side of the octopus head had already ripped. However was able to stitch it back up and he continues to play with it everyday.

My dog loves it! It's big enough for a medium to large sized dog, but even my small to medium sized dog has no issues getting ahold of a tentacle or even the head. She loves both the crinkly tentacles and the squeaky head. The only thing we have to watch out for is she likes to get ahold of it by a tentacle and thrash it around as if it's caught prey, but anyone near by is at risk of getting whipped by it! Love that it's keeping her attention so she's not trying to burn off that energy by gnawing on furniture or something. It seems well enough made and is holding up well, but should it be chewed or torn up within too short of a time, I'll update the review to note the durability issue. As of now I recommend it!
