This toy was a lot larger than expected. You charge it once and forget it. It starts chirping and flapping it's wings when the cat touches it. No need to turn it on or off. It also has a pouch of catnip to attract cats. I've had this for over a month now and haven't had to recharge it. The biggest win is that the cats have not lost interest in it.
This flappy bird toy has been an absolute hit!!! The chirping sound and catnip infusion keeps them fully engaged. It is well-made and a straight forward toy. This has been life changing for my indoor cat. Definitely worth the price!!! Absolutely recommend!!
My cat loves the chirping and the flapping of the wings, it awakens his hunting instinct. However, it would be nice if it was a little more realistic. That's why I give it 4 stars.
My cat is 14 and it is very difficult to find a toy that interests her, but this bird has caught her attention! She plays with it often now, and when it starts flapping its wings, she lies down and gives up. Crazy cat, but at least she is busy. Assembly was quick and easy. A friend of mine wants one for her cats too!
This is an excellent toy for cats and maybe even small dogs. The cat was trying to get into it before it even came out of the box even though the catnip was sealed up in a plastic bag. It might be the real feather that they have on the tail has some scent to it because even the dogs were very curious about it. The chirping sound is pretty realistic and the movement really drives the animals crazy. I think they think it’s alive.
